Outcome of health inspection of school children in selected public primary schools in the Ethiope LGAs of Delta State, Nigeria

This descriptive cross-sectional study assessed the physical state and personal hygiene of 1,196 school children in Delta State. The findings revealed that over half of the children had dirty nails and uniforms, while significant percentages suffered from dental caries and skin infections, pointing to a general neglect of school health inspections
