Sexuality education: perception of secondary school teachers in an urban community in Southern Nigeria

A study of 408 secondary school teachers in Oredo LGA found that while 98.0% were aware of sexuality education, only 44.1% possessed correct knowledge of its core issues. Although 61.3% supported teaching sexuality education at all secondary levels, there remains a significant gap in formal training and specific subject knowledge among educators.
